“A Shop for Killers” Returns with Star-Studded Season 2 Cast: Lee Dong Wook, Okada Masaki & More
Disney+ original series “A Shop for Killers” is officially returning for Season 2, and the newly announced cast lineup is making waves across social media. Following its explosive success in Season 1 across Asia, the upcoming season is shaping up to be even more intense and star-packed.
Released in January 2024, Season 1 quickly dominated Disney+’s TV show rankings in Korea, Taiwan, and Hong Kong, claiming No.1 in all three. It also ranked No.2 in Japan and No.3 in Singapore, earning an impressive IMDb rating of 8.6 and drawing comparisons to mega-hits like “Moving” and “The Worst of Evil.”
In particular, Lee Dong-wook energized the show with his slick action performances, such as the intense morgue rescue scene with young Jian (Ahn Se-bin) and his brutal fight with Veil (Jo Han-sun). Key figures from MurderHelp return too — Geum Hae-na as Min-hye, Lee Tae-young as Brother, and Kim Min as Fashin, representing the info broker, weapons expert, and Muay Thai trainer, respectively.
Fans’ anticipation for Season 2 skyrocketed after the Season 1 ending hinted at the survival of Jin-man, previously presumed dead. In the finale, Jin-man is shown staggering out of a taxi and reuniting with Jian, setting the stage for even greater excitement.

But what’s truly turning heads is the addition of new cast members. Hyunri, a Korean-Japanese actress, joins as Q, the icy and calculated mercenary team leader of Babylon East Asia Branch.
